Description of Service

Task Bond is a privacy-first productivity service that connects to your Notion workspace to help organize and prioritize your tasks. The service operates with complete privacy protection and uses AI processing to enhance your productivity workflow.

Beta Program

Task Bond is currently in private beta. By participating in the beta program:

• You understand the software is pre-release and may contain bugs or incomplete features
• You agree to provide feedback to help improve the service
• You acknowledge that beta access may be revoked at any time
• Features and functionality may change without notice during the beta period

User Responsibilities

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Notion workspace credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Task Bond for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the service
• Share your beta access credentials with others
• Use the service to process or prioritize harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content

Notion Integration

Task Bond requires authorization to access your Notion workspace. By granting this access:

• You confirm you have the right to authorize this access
• You understand that Task Bond will read your Notion databases and pages for task processing
• You can revoke this access at any time through your Notion settings
• You remain responsible for your Notion data and workspace

AI Processing and OpenAI

Task Bond uses OpenAI's services to process and prioritize your tasks:

• Only anonymized, summarized task data is sent to OpenAI for processing
• You acknowledge that AI processing may not always be perfect or complete
• Task prioritization suggestions are automated and should be reviewed by you
• OpenAI's terms of service also apply to the AI processing component

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is paramount. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle your data. Key points:

• Your Notion data is processed locally on your device
• We operate on a zero-knowledge architecture
• No raw Notion content is stored on our servers

Intellectual Property

Task Bond and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Task Bond and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Notion data remains your property. Task Bond claims no ownership over your content.

Service Availability

• We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates
• During beta, the service may be discontinued or significantly changed
• Third-party service dependencies (Notion, OpenAI) may affect availability

Limitation of Liability

Task Bond is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

You are responsible for backing up your Notion data and ensuring its security.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You can stop using Task Bond and revoke Notion access at any time
• We may terminate your access for violation of these terms
• Beta access may be revoked as the program evolves
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the service or email.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in appropriate courts.
